  • This summer I set out a goal for myself to establish healthier habits and get myself back into my pre-baby clothes. I'm proud to say that I’ve consistently worked out 4 to 5 day a week. My commitment to reaching my goal did not go unnoticed; a friend sponsored my first month of Bootcamp. This gift not only inspired me to work harder, but it also allowed me the opportunity to challenge myself. I'm on my second month of Boot camp, and so far it has been an amazing and rewarding experience. The trainers are experienced and do a great job of pushing me out of my comfort zone. I have more energy to be able to keep up with my kids. My clothes look better and more importantly I feel better. I’m grateful for the opportunity, and I'm happy to say I'm halfway to reaching my goal!

  • What an amazing challenge this has been! This year, I made the New Year's Resolution to get in shape. What a difference in just 3 months. At first it was difficult since the holidays had taken it's toll on me. The first few weeks back were the hardest. Under the direction of Bootcamp leader Coriine Safille, I am proud to say that I have lost nearly twenty pounds and about 16 inches of me has melted away. Now, I look forward to each meeting. I feel so much better. I am eating healthy and I am having fun. I enjoy time with the other bootcamp ladies as well. It is especially rewarding when I am complimented on my new look! It has all been worth it! I am 57 years old and I am losing it at Ladies First BootCamp!

  • Bootcamp was a blessing to me after my third son. I was heavier than I had ever been, even pregnant. I was depressed and not motivated. I played sports my whole life and ran, so to be heavy was depressing. When I started bootcamp it was my Mother's Day present in May 2010. Bootcamp changed my life. I lost 10 pounds in the first month and won the next bootcamp where I continued to loose weight and tons of inches. I went from my tight size 9 pants that I only bought 2 pairs of because I couldn't believe I was that size, all the way down to size 4. I was so happy and full of energy again. I had my self esteem back and lots of clothes I missed wearing. I can run on the soccer field with the boys teams I coach without running out of breath. My whole family is eating healthier and now I am just addicted to the bootcamp workouts. It makes me a better mom and I've never felt healthier at 35!

  • I love Bootcamp! I needed something to motivate me to go regularly. Since there was an extra cost for bootcamp that helped to keep me motivated and not let me miss a session. Well I started going and I have met so many awesome ladies. Everyone is so inspiring and supportive; bootcamp is a part of my life now. Not only have I met some awesome ladies, Corinne the instructor is a big reason I have stuck with it and by far she is one of the most amazing people I know. She always motivates you and no matter what, she always has a smile for you and makes you feel special and important.

  • I am 58 and have tried many exercise regimes. This one is a good fit for me. I had my doubts though, after the first session I thought someone was going to have to carry me into the house! I used muscles that haven't been used in quite some time. Over the past couple of months I have been able to do more at bootccamp. I feel stronger and healthier and have more endurance. About 8 months ago I suffered with Plantar Fascitis and low back pain and oculd hardly walk. After physical therapy and with bootcamp I feel so much better I have hope again and it has improved my state of mind considerably. I have more energy and am developing a more positive self esteem; I have to credit Corinne with my success. She is a wonderful teacher, very knowledgeable about the body and she changes the classes daily to make it fun and challenging. She motivates and pushes us but never too much. She is very sweet, encouraging and so so funny. I appreciate that she suggests modifications for me when some things could cause a strain on my back. She always remembers. She helped my daughter and I get through a session where we thought we couldn't finish. She is awesome! I have lost 2 inches on my chest, waist, hip and thighs and 1.5 inches on my calf's and arms. I am motivated to keep going!!! Thank you Corinne with all my heart!

  • The older I've gotten the less motivation I had towards working out. Going to the gym doing the same boring routine until I had joined bootcamp! Corinne keeps your body guessing as to what's going to be challenged today. ?º Her creative routines keep me coming back for more. She encourages each one of us to do our very best and go that extra repetition to better ourselves. I am 5'10''¨ and around 150 pounds. So my goal is not to lose the weight but mental and physical shape. I've lost around 12 inches total and feel great! Thanks Corinne for your encouragements and always changing routines to keep me coming back for more.

  • I have been attending bootcamp for 3 months and I love it! Corinne is am amazing trainer and an amazing friend. My results could not be better. Since I have started, I have noticed that I have more energy, more strength, more flexibility and I hove lost inches and weight! I've really toned up! When I first started bootcamp 3 months ago, I was mainly doing it for weight loss and I just wanted to look better, but since then I've been accepted into the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Academy which Corinne has taken into consideration and so she offers me one on one advice and she motivates me to do well. I know that I will do well in the Academy because of her and I really want to thank her. I strongly recommend bootcamp and Ladies 1st to all.

  • I've been a member of Ladies First for about 6 months and I really enjoy the classes they offer. The trainers are great. So tough, but you know you get a good workout in an hour.

    I just finished doing their 6 week challenge. The challenge provides you nutrition information and let's you take the specialty classes. If you lose the 20lbs in 6 weeks, you get your money back (prepaid 1 year of gym membership). It's a good chunk of money to put down, but since they let you take the specialty classes which you regularly have to pay extra for, it made it worth it. Faith and Audra and amazing! Those two ladies made me work during the 6 weeks and they are truly the reason why I will continue bootcamp. Although I only lost 13 lbs out of the 20lbs, I am very happy with my results and happy I did the challenge.

    Since this was the first time Ladies First had the 6 week challenge, there were some hiccups. I wish some things were communicated a bit clearer, but I'll admit the owner responded to all my emails timely. If they get the whole staff on the same page, they'll be golden.

    Overall, very happy with this gym. You work hard but you see results. Try it out!

  • I love this gym. This one compares to no other in the antelope valley. I love the awesome, friendly staff here who always make sure to greet me. I never have to wait for machines and have never seen this place dirty. This place keeps me motivated, will never go anywhere else! Long gone are my days at 24 hour where I could always count on it being overcrowded, long waits for machines and a filthy atmosphere. Thank you Ladies First! This place is a gem!

  • Most of the reviews go on about how clean, pretty, and fresh-smelling the gym is--and I agree!--but I'm here for a little workout and the "pretty" is not my main concern. I want a place to workout without interruption or waiting for equipment. Ladies First does all of that and more.

    I qualify for the senior discount, which is available at age 55. That makes going to the gym 2 or 3 times a week for a month cost less than a dinner out, or going to a movie twice a month. They were very helpful in going over the options, and there was no pressure to choose add-ons (they offer a lot of services and programs!). They also have month-to-month choices, I believe, but I signed up for a year. I renewed not long ago.

    I appreciate the lovely locker room/restroom/shower/vanity area. It's spa-like and quiet, and helps me prepare and focus on working out. They generally have several good-quality treadmills open. They also have a very large collection of machines. Some of these I've never seen before! They're clearly labeled to show how to use them and what muscles groups are targeted. I can always get to at least three or four of my favorites without waiting, and try out something a little different from time to time.

    I haven't done any of the classes or used their other services. I'm pretty much a loner in my workouts. I get focused, and don't really want intrusions, so ear-phones and machines are my style. I might eventually make it to a Zumba class...

    I'd really appreciate longer hours on the weekends and opening on holidays, but I don't believe they have the usage to support it, Weekends and late evenings are generally pretty quiet here. The lot may be full, but it's class attendees. The main gym is still pretty open.

    I recommend this gym to my friends all the time. We all have desk jobs and busy lives,and with the AV weather, we may not be able to fit outdoor exercising into our week, for months on end.

    This gym invalidates all the excuses!

  • I originally tried out the gym when I went to purchase a membership for my daughter as a gift. I fell in love.
    The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is always welcoming and encouraging, they make time to greet me every time I go. Which makes a big difference to me. I have wanted to work out for a long time and just had not found anything that I enjoyed doing. I was worried about trying the classes because I thought I needed to get in shape first. They talked me into just giving it a try at my own pace and I loved it. The instructors are awesome and more than anything, so we're the other members.
    They facility is clean...a huge plus over a lot of gyms I've experienced.
    It's really a beautiful space and the entire experience is well thought out and just works. I have never had to wait for machines.
    The only suggestions that I would make is to schedule a wider variety of classes later in the day for those of us who work down below and can't get here to try some of the different options. And longer hours on the weekend. My schedule (like everyone else's) is hectic and sometimes I miss getting there simply because the hours don't work out for me.
    I tell everyone about this gym though because it really has made the difference for me. I actually want to go there!

  • I like Ladies First. Its a clean, friendly and positive environment. Great classes, friendly staff and plenty of equipment. It has a sauna and steam room, along with showers so it makes it convenient before or after work, or to start your day. Great prices as well. I'm going to keep coming back because its "me" time and I'm seeing results.

  • Beautiful gym! Quite, private and not crowded! Just like it should be! When I signed the lady that helped me was Clevetta and she was very pleasant, helpful and friendly! She made sure that this was the correct gym for me before anything was signed. She also didn't force me or make me feel obligated to add on to my contract any of the other extras the gym offers! I would suggest asking for her if this is a gym you are interested in :)

  • This is by far the best gym experience I had in my life. Loved Percitas group workout classes, she'll push you to the point where you can't lift yourself anymore. Haha! It was well worth the pain because she's helping you tone your body in places you thought you didn't think you have. Overall the staff is very friendly, professional, and its like a family atmosphere.

  • This is my HAPPY, get strong place. LFF is geared for woman of all shapes and sizes. They have a great team of employees and trainers. The classes are motivating and energetic. Take Percita's classes to "get it right, get it tight" and Desiree's Zumba to find your inner dancing diva. Everyone at LF is there to help and support your fitness goals. Michole the gyms fearless leader/owner is hands on and willing to listen to her members. I am so happy to have found Ladies First, it has guided the last 2+ yrs of my life to be a healthier, happier version of myself.
